Senior Data Scientist

Explore and extract insights from data within the d-local environment.

Build machine learning models, optimization solutions, and statistical inference techniques for anomaly detection, fraud prevention, etc.

Research, prototype, and test new methodologies to measure effectiveness and develop predictive algorithms.

Regularly communicate results to senior management.

Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to drive data-driven improvements across the platform.

5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, applied machine learning, and statistics.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Data Engineer.

Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and Spark.

Experience in experimentation and A/B testing.

Experience with AWS services (SageMaker, ECS, Glue, etc.) to build and deploy scalable ML models in the cloud is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple data science projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.

Team player, able to collaborate effectively with others.

Curious mindset and positive attitude.

Advanced/Fluent English.

Experience in payments or financial systems is a plus (nice to have).
