Job description

Somnio is a product engineering agency. We design, build and scale products for startups and tech companies across North America, LATAM and Europe, with Flutter at the core of what we do.
We're looking for our first GTM Engineer: a senior engineer who designs and builds the AI systems, infrastructure and platforms behind our marketing and sales teams. You'll study how those teams work, find where time, data and opportunities are being lost, and engineer the systems that fix it. This is not an outbound operator or a RevOps admin role. We want an engineer who treats our go-to-market like a product and makes the whole team more capable.

What you'll do

  • Map how marketing and sales work today and find the highest-leverage opportunities to automate, connect or rethink. On the marketing side that means SEO, the website, content and design processes. On the sales side it means CRM hygiene, account research and outbound.

  • Design, build and run the infrastructure behind our go-to-market: the data pipelines, integrations, APIs and AI agents that connect our stack, so a signal in one tool triggers the right action in another.

  • Architect agentic systems that run reliably with minimal supervision. That means loop engineering (agent loops with clear goals, verification and stopping conditions) and graph engineering (multi-agent workflows with explicit state, handoffs and human checkpoints where they matter).

  • Keep HubSpot as our single source of truth. Every contact should have an owner, a next step and the context of every conversation, with as little manual entry as possible.

  • Design signal-based account research and prioritization for the US market. Our sales team should know which accounts to pursue, why now, and walk into every meeting prepared.

  • Give marketing leverage by making SEO, site operations, content production, reporting and design workflows run faster with automation and AI.

  • Get the most out of the tools we already pay for, and build custom when they fall short. When something new is worth buying, make the case with a clear cost and expected return.

  • Turn what you build into templates, documentation and training, so the team can run and extend it without you.

  • Work 100% behind the scenes. You won't talk to prospects or clients; your impact shows up in what the team can do.

How we'll measure success

  • Hours of manual work removed from marketing and sales.

  • HubSpot health: completeness of contacts, owners, tasks and conversation history.

  • Pipeline impact: better conversion from MQL to SQL to Opportunity, and meetings driven by signal-based plays.

  • Adoption: the workflows the team actually uses, week after week.

  • Reliability: systems and agents that run without breaking or needing babysitting.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software, AI or GTM engineering, including developing systems, infrastructure or platforms for sales teams.

  • Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, and solid system design: APIs, data models, pipelines and integrations that hold up in production. You'll work autonomously, without support from our engineering team.

  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production: agents, tool use and MCP, orchestration, loop and graph engineering, evaluation and monitoring.

  • A portfolio of real systems you've built for revenue teams, such as AI agents, data and enrichment pipelines, or CRM architecture in HubSpot.

  • Commercial judgment. Before building a workflow, you ask whether it helps someone close a deal or save real time.

  • Knowing how marketing and sales teams work, from SEO and web operations to pipeline and CRM, is a big plus. We'll prioritize engineering depth, but the best candidates bring both.

  • Fluent English, written and spoken. This is a must.
